Had a wonderful day at the beach yesterday with Jo & her cubs, It was a lovely beach with a cool jetty the kids could jump off & did all afternoon & an inlet so there was no mental waves the little ones were safe all the time, we had a picnic with "hard boiled eggs" laid by Jo's chooks & lovely cups of tea with shortbread & over priced ice cream for the kids. I love going to the beach it has a calming effect on me & it was lovely to chill with Jo & have a goss xx

What a lovely day! Nothing beats a day by the seaside! We were so lucky to be able to go every day in the summer holidays as children - remember all those potholes in the road on the bike going down to Friar's Cliff?! Next move will be close to the sea - Kent/Essex/Suffolk coast we hope. x
